CalFresh

The County of Sonoma Human Services department supports individuals, families, and communities with food, health care, financial, employment, child care, and protective services. Learn more about signing up for CalFresh and other food resources from Sonoma county.

Feeding America

Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks, food pantries and local meal programs. Their goal is to help people get the food and resources you need to thrive.

FoodFinder

Elisha’s Pantry is part of a large, local network of food pantries in Santa Rosa. If you need food and are outside of our service area, use the FoodFinder to search for local pantries and other food resources. You can also download a FoodFinder smart phone application.

Redwood Empire Food Bank

We partner with the Redwood Empire Food Bank to help feed our neighbors in need. Check out their Food Connections Resource Center if you're seeking food assistance and if you need help in navigating the CalFresh application process, they can help.

Text FOOD

Text FOOD us a text message-based tool that connects you to local information about where to get food near you. As a Sonoma County resident, you can use your cellphone to text "Food/Comida" to the phone number below and get an immediate response with the information you need.

How it works: 

  • Text the word FOOD or COMIDA to 707-353-3882

  • You will be asked to reply, "1" for Meals or "2" for Groceries

  • Follow the prompt, send a text specifying the City or Zip code you're in.

  • You'll receive up-to-date information about food distributions near by.
